Born on 23rd August 1957, Bhuwan KC is one of the most successful actors and evergreen actor in Nepali film industry who turned into Producer and later into Director. He started his career as a singer for national radio station Radio Nepal. His famous song was " the Saara Raat" which helped him gain recognition in the Nepalese film industry. This legendary superstar debuted in Kollywood from the movie "Juni" released in 1983 which was not commercially successful. The movie "Samjhana" which he played a year later his first movie was a mega-hit in Nepali film industry which helped him to establish himself as a superstar of his era. He listed his most liked movies he has played as Kanyadan, Kusume Rumal, Samjhana, Karodpati and Nepali Babu.

Bhuwan had a passion for singing and other recreational activities rather than school activities from his childhood days as he wanted to take a singing career seriously. He has played in movies like Juni, Samjhana, Kusume Rumal, Saino, Chino, Trishna, Kanyadan, Karodpati, Nepali Babu, Tan Ta Sarai Bigris Ni Badri, Superstar, Badal Paree, Kahan Chau Kaha, Ma Timi Bina Mari Halchu, Saathi Ma Timro, Hostel.

Bhuwan KC always plays on his toes which are reflected in his filmmaking where he dares to take the risks in his work. When he began to receive fewer films, he started creating his own movies through his production house named Kajal Production. His home production movies like Karodpati and Nepali Babu did exceptionally well in Nepalese Box Office Collection of those days when audiences were so limited for Nepali Cinema. Recently he proved that he is not only a dynamic and talented actor but his sense in filmmaking puts him in the list of an outstanding Nepali director, as he directed Dreams, where the lead actor was his own son Anmol KC and its collection, was NRP 1 Crore 70 Lakhs in just two days from the release date.

Bhuwan KC is known as a romantic person both in real life and reel life. Bhuwan has been divorced with both of his wives (Vijaya Malla and Sushmita Bomjan). His children’s are named Kajal K.C., Anmol K.C., and Vivek K.C. Kajol and Vivek are children of his first wife Vijaya while Anmol is the son of Sushmita. He has released his own biography.

Anmol K.C. is a Nepalese actor and producer known for his appearances in romantic-comedy movies namely Jerry, Dreams, and Gajalu.
